We breed two different lines of Fancy rats. We breed for both the pet trade and for the food trade. Please be aware of this when ordering from us.
If you are looking for a pet, our pet lines are handled from birth. The parents are our pets and we also make sure to keep the babies with their moms for 5 weeks. This helps them to be better socialized.
Our feeders stay with their moms only for the 3 weeks that is nescisary to be healthy. We guarantee their health. But they are not handled other than to move them from one cage to another. This makes them great food (because they smell wilder to the animals eating them) but they would not make a good pet.
