Reptile R.E.P.S

When Eddie and I met for the first time over 6 years ago, neither of us ever dreamed that we would not only be together as life partners but that we would have the same passions about life that we do.  We met in passing through a mutual friend and then did not see each other again for 2 1/2 years.

When we reconnected we realized we were meant to be together, in life, love and business.  We discovered we had the same passion for helping those that could not help themselves.  ANIMALS! Cats & Dogs, while wonderful creatures have voices all over this world.  Rescue Groups galore are dedicated to helping Cats & Dogs.  So we dedicated ourselves to helping those less fortunate animals with out a voice...REPTILES & EXOTIC PETS.

We started with our love for the scaley creatures, opening our homes and hearts to any that needed to be taken care of.  Soon our home was truly not ours anymore.  It belonged to the creatures that inhabited it.  Our job was to wait on them, love them, and make them feel safe.  Part of this was to make sure they had all the food that they needed...

So we started breeding Rats and Mice for feeders.  One pledge we made though, was never to feed pets to pets.  So any rats that found their way into our home by need of a home, never went to food.  We divided our rat area into those that were pets, those that were breeders, and those that were the offspring...and therefore feeders.

As our lizard population also grew we realized we could not keep going out and buying crickets everyday.  So upon much research, we found out that roaches were a better source of food for the lizards and we started breeding tropical roaches (not your everyday house roach).  Before long, we had more rodents and roaches than we knew what to do with, so we offered them up to any other reptile owners.  It was at this point that we realized we could provide a healthy &  inexpensive food source to many other reptile owners.

And thus Reptile R.E.P.S was born.  Our goal to provide a voice for those that do not have one.  To give any reptile or exotic pet a home when needed, provide inexpensive & healthy food to their owners, educate children and adults to the care of these wonderful creature.  Teaching respect and not fear.  As well as to promote a better life for all through Relocation, Education & Protection Services.
